The Spiritual Reunion

Someone asked me the other day, "What if all of this is just a bunch of mess they been feeding you all your life?"
I asked, "What are you talking about?" They replied, "What if there really isn't a God and you have been trying to get it right all this time for no reason?" We had been talking about how I have made some major mistakes recently and I didn't feel worthy enough to be restored in my faith. Sin had created such a division between God and I. The sleepless nights and the worry caused me to think this way. There were people who knew of my mistakes and it seemed like I would never regain their trust. If they didn't trust me I felt God was the same way. I responded to my friend's question. "I have nothing to lose. If God is willing to reunite with me after all my mistakes I am going to take that chance. I believe He never gave up on me so I won't give up on Him."
