Medical Hypocrisy - My Personal Opinion

There has been a lot of controversy about marijuana and it's medical use for multiple sclerosis. NORML is an organization that is trying to change marijuana laws and their  mission is to move public opinion sufficiently to achieve the repeal of marijuana prohibition so that the responsible use of cannabis by adults is no longer subject to penalty.

According to their website, "Clinical and anecdotal reports of cannabinoids' ability to reduce MS-related symptoms such as pain, spasticity, depression, fatigue and incontinence."

However, some doctors are giving cancer patients Brompton's Mixture for pain. What is it? The mixture was developed between 1975-1980 in Brompton Hospital. It is an analgesic mixture, usually containing morphine and cocaine and sometimes other narcotic substances in an alcohol solution, administered primarily to advanced cancer patients.

This sounds like medical hypocrisy... what do you think?

OBAMA 2012... Officially moving forward!

The acceptance speech after Obama won the  2012 presidential election... enjoy.

MS in the Presidential Opponents' Lives

Michelle Obama's father (pictured on the left)...
President Obama's wife, Michelle, is the little girl on her mother's lap. She said she never saw her father walk when she was young. He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I am not sure how it was back then but I am sure it was a rough journey. She grew up knowing about the struggle many of us face. She learned a lot from the experience.

Mitt Romney's (presidential candidate) wife, Ann Romney
Mitt Romney's wife was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1997.  If she is the next first lady of the United States it would be great if she used her voice to help others dealing with this unpredictable and incurable disease.
Time will tell and hopefully multiple sclerosis will be made a priority during the next presidency.

2012 Spiritual Political Inspiration

The election is live right now and we are awaiting the declaration of a new president or a continued presidency. Time will tell. I proudly voted today and I think it's an honor to have this privilege.

We will do our part but we must remember to not be discouraged. Regardless, God is sovereign and He will watch over His children. No matter who is elected it will always be Jesus for President... worldwide!

Listen to this song for some spiritual political inspiration:

Tamia - Beautiful but this is no surprise...

... I knew she would be back with great music. She is sooo beautiful and talented and she is a great inspiration. I loved Tamia before her diagnosis but I really look up to her as a mother, artist and philanthropist.
Many people think you should live within your diagnosis. I am glad to know that there are individuals that are still active and doing what they did before multiple sclerosis. That is a beautiful thing and we should keep on surprising people with our endeavors because WE CAN. Check out her interview on DivaWhispers below:

If you haven't heard her album title track where have you been? Under a rock? I love the song and it's my ringtone for my husband.

Did you see Grant Hill's cameo in the video? Even though he is a NBA player and she is an entertainer they keep the love live in their relationship. They are a beautiful couple... a great inspiration to all of us. BEAUTIFUL!

NO VIP TICKET NEEDED to access God...

Many people feel like this... do you?

I can relate to some parts of this song. I'm sure others can too. There will never be a perfect Christian until Christ comes back and changes His children from flesh to spirit - HIS spirit. Even though we may experience hurt in church we have to understand that God is love. He is raising His children like any parent would. Some children will do things thinking they are "grown" in the spirit. But even God said we need to come to Him as children. If we don't come with that humble spirit we cannot inherit the kingdom.
Luke 18:15-17 People brought babies to Jesus, hoping he might touch them. When the disciples saw it, they shooed them off. Jesus called them back. "Let these children alone. Don't get between them and me. These children are the kingdom's pride and joy. Mark this: Unless you accept God's kingdom in the simplicity of a child, you'll never get in."
When we are "shooed off" remember tha…
