It will take just 37 seconds to read this and change your thinking..

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.


One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.
His bed was next to the room's only window.


The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.


The men talked for hours on end.


They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation..


Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.



The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color …

"YOU ARE TOO DEEP!"

YOU ARE TOO DEEP!
Have you ever heard that before, especially from other Christians? When you attempt to learn the truth about God's word you may hear that. I don't entertain these conversations because I now look at them differently. I don't view them negatively anymore. I think they are actually giving me a compliment. Let me share with you what I found out.

Deep means extending far down from the top or surface. So when someone calls you spiritually deep they are saying that you extend beyond the surface. When it comes to God, that is where I want to be. This is not about me but it's about my desire to know and love him deeply. I would rather be deep than be shallow. Shallow is the opposite of deep and it means lacking depth and superficial. When someone or something is superficial it comprehends only what is on the surface or what is obvious.
It is obvious that God is good. It is obvious that he looks over us. If I study the Word to get the details I am being deep. I c…
