MY MORNING PPPPP...

Image
Everyday I get up and I have a special PPPPP. Don't go there, this won't be bad... promise. :)  I get up and that in itself is sometimes a job... multiple sclerosis got a way of kind of wanting you to stay in the bed. I digress. Still, my first response is to say thank you to God for waking me up to see another day. In whatever state I am in.. I was granted a chance to make something of a new day. I close my eyes and sit on the edge of my bed and begin the PPPPP.... yep right there on the edge of my bed. The PPPPP is this... the PROTECTIVE PEACE PRODUCTIVE POWER PRAYER... Think about it... when you go outside or even stay inside your home people are crazy. The unthinkable could happen and you could be unprepared for it. In whatever situation or wherever you are you have to pray for peace... not just any kind of peace but the peace that guards your heart and mind. Philippians 4:7 calls it the peace of God that goes beyond anything we could understand. It guards our hearts and our…

Young Love

Image
WHEN IS LOVE TOO YOUNG? Let me start this post off right. Am I saying that young people can't fall in love? No, not at all. Young people can fall in love and I am not talking about individuals at all. I am talking about love. When is LOVE too young? I am not asking when are you too young to fall in love... There are older people that are experiencing young love so this post has no age restrictions. Some grown folks may benefit from this. Can we talk? Ok. We know how it is when you fall for someone. Their smile, their touch, the way they walk... everything about them causes an instant smile. You like them and you hope they like you back the same way. Two, three, four months in...you may want more... you want an exclusive committment.  You have FELL in love but is the relationship or the affection you have for that person too YOUNG? Everybody who has loved has the same defense. "I know for sure that he/she loves me!" Okay, if you know for sure then you have no problem waiting…

TWENTY THINGS TO REMEMBER

Image
TWENTY THINGS TO REMEMBER 1.Faith is the ability to not panic2.If you worry, you didn't pray. If you prayed, don't worry.3.As a child of God, prayer is kinda like calling home every day.4.Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape. 5.When we get tangled up in our problems, be still. God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot. 6.Do the math. Count your blessings. 7.God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts. 8.Dear God. I have a problem. It's me. 9.Silence is often misinterpreted, but never misquoted. 10.Laugh every day – it's like inner jogging. 11.The most important things in your home are the people. 12.Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional. (Preach it!) 13.There is no key to happiness. The door is always open. Come on in. 14.A grudge is a heavy thing to carry. 15.He who dies with the most toys is still dead. 16.We do not remember days but moments. Life moves too fast so enjoy your precious moments. 17.

CAN YOU STILL ENJOY VDAY ALONE?

Image
Okay, it's coming up... in a few days... Valentines Day. Some people are preparing to wow their boos with the most extravagant gifts and getaways. Some are planning a nice quiet evening at the house with their significant. Then there are some that could care less and can't wait until the cupids fly away. The question I wanna ask is can you enjoy Valentine's Day on your own? Scream it from the mountaintops: YESSSSS! The truth of the matter is you enjoy Valentine's Day or any other day more when you love yourself. I know that this holiday is supposed to be about couples and all. However, this day should be about love. Too many times the commercial world likes to put a new meaning to something so genuine. Take the time to realize that you can't love anyone else until you love you! What attracts someone to another person? What others see in you should be a broader reason to love you. You are unique whether or not you are paired with another. For those of us who found our…
I'm living each day to the max... No regrets just blessings and lessons learned.
