Nature's Alternative: Home Remedies

BEFORE GOING TO THE MEDICINE CABINET READ THIS There is always someone forwarding us emails to do something. I think this advice will help many. This is a good one to put on the fridge. Did You Know that drinking two glasses of Gatorade can relieve headache pain almost immediately-- without the unpleasant side effects caused by traditional 'pain relievers.'

Did you know that Colgate toothpaste makes an excellent salve for burns.

Before you head to the drugstore for a high-priced inhaler filled with mysterious chemicals, try chewing on a couple of curiously strong Altoids peppermints. They'll clear up your stuffed nose.

Achy muscles from a bout of the flu? Mix 1 Tablespoon of horseradish in 1 cup of olive oil. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes, then apply it as a massage oil, for instant relief for aching muscles.

Sore throat? Just mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria.

Caught sinning!

We've all heard it....When you point the finger (the pointing one that is) four more are pointing back at you. We've experienced it before and maybe we ourselves were the pointer. In any case it is time to move beyond the judgemental facet and move into what we were sent to do. That's love people to God.Now keep in mind there was a woman in the Bible caught in the very act of getting busy. This is nothing these people heard about.  They were eyewitnesses of this event. They probably dragged her to Jesus. "What are you going to do with this one? The Law commands her to be put to death by stoning." John 8 (Amplified)7However, when they persisted with their question, He raised Himself up and said, Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her. There are people with that same agenda. They will drag you to Jesus, to the church, to your self righteous neighbor and say, "They got caught doing this..." First of all, no one has a heave…

I am sorry to inform my readers and self help participants but my laptop is in the shop. The monitor is cracked and it will cost me approximately $300 to get it repaired. Even though I have every intention to repair it, it may be at least a month before NMS is fully functional offering the extra services that we provide. If you are on the Ning netwoek do not worry. Everything on Ning is operational because it's your content... what you add. i am thoroughly encouraged by what you offer to the network and everything you bring. I may not be able to blog as often as I can without my laptop but you can. Again, I apologize for this inconvenience and I will notify blog readers and those on the NMS mailing list as soon as I'm back. Thanks for still participating on No More Sclerosis Online.

Let it go... by TD Jakes

Some emails just come at the right time. Thanks to my cousin Tawsha who forwarded this to me.LET GO!Bishop TD JakesThere are people who can walk away from you. And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let them walk.I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone. When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left. The bible said that: They came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us. [1 John 2:19]People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not joined to you can't make them stay. Let them go. And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person it just means that their part in the story is over. And you've got to know when people's part in your s…

Yep, I understand!

And this is the truth of the matter...I am always defending my healing. There are still some people who don't understand the importance of what I am saying on this website and ultimately in my life. My healing had nothing to do with the actual disease of Multiple Sclerosis. God just chose to use that situation to open my eyes to a wider truth - remission - my personal spiritual remission.People see me walking with a limp and they automatically think, "Yeah, I told you she wasn't going to do good with MS." I am doing better than I could possibly imagine. My life has taken on a brand new focus - my spirit. What is important to everyone else is not important to me. Do they understand? The thing is... a lot of Christians believe that true believers don't deal with things like this. They don't have illnesses. They couldn't possibly have to occassionally deal with pain. These people have worked my nerves for the past two years but now I can say, "I got it!…
