Spiritual Sclerosis Healed!

Psalms 32:4-5 (The Message) Read this entire chapter if you want! The pressure never let up; all the juices of my life dried up. Then I let it all out; I said, "I'll make a clean breast of my failures to God." Suddenly the pressure was gone— my guilt dissolved, my sin disappeared.
I believe all of us have been like David... Can you remember being so full of guilt? I have been there! "I can't believe I did that! I can't live with that mistake! How stupid Quiyada!" David, the great king of Israel - the man after God's own heart had the same sentiments. He says the pressure never let up. When you suffer with damaging scars the pressure never lets up. You're always disappointed in yourself and you feel invaluable. You can't see yourself free. You can't walk with God any longer. Thinking positive is a task because there is too much pressure. You did it all wrong and you're living with the consequences. Been there? Yes! I have. Physical sclero…

AGAPE There are five words for love in the Greek. One is what describes an unconditional love. Wikipedia says this of agape. "The term 'agape' is rarely used in ancient manuscripts, but was used by the early Christians to refer to the self-sacrificing love of God for humanity, which they were committed to reciprocating and practicing towards God and among one another." God has a self-sacrificing love for us. This means he has a love that puts us first. He has a love that overlooks our shortcomings and faults so much that he took on flesh to save us. If that is not self-sacrificing I do not know what is. There is one definition that sticks when it comes down to sacrifice. I found this on A sacrifice is the surrender or destruction of something prized or desirable for the sake of something considered as having a higher or more pressing claim. So God is saying I am valuable. I have value to God! Many of us deal with things everyday that crushes our self es…

IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH John 4:23-24 (AMP) A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers. God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality). All of us have heard it quoted but do we really understand this verse? Let's disect. A time will come, however, indeed it is already here The time is already here! It's not approaching but it is already here! What are we waiting on? when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father What is worship? Worship is reverent honor and homage paid to God. Your homage or respect has to come from a genuine heart. Genuine meaning - a heart that is free from hypocrisy and lies. When someone is genuine you know it. How much more do you think God knows? He knows when we are sincere with our worship and true with our reverenc…

Working on a new book!

I hope all of you have purchased "I CHEATED!" If you have not please stop by the BOOKSTORE to pick up a copy. It has changed many lives and I am positive it will have the same impact on yours. With that being said I am working on another one. This one is a little different - it's all fiction. I have always loved fiction books. I think it's special when authors can take real life situations and introduce characters we are familiar with. There is a deeper insight when it is Christian literature. When there is a purpose behind the words it makes it much easier to grab. This fiction book is geared toward all audiences but I think young women will find it extremely down to earth and familiar. I am praying that it does a total 360 in someone's lives. The angels rejoice over one soul and so do I. All books have a piece of the author in there somewhere. Some character, even if it's the smallest, has a piece of the author's character in him/her. I want to be as real…

Acts 2:1-3 (Contemporary English Version)

Acts 2
The Coming of the Holy Spirit 1On the day of Pentecost all the Lord's followers were together in one place. 2Suddenly there was a noise from heaven like the sound of a mighty wind! It filled the house where they were meeting. 3Then they saw what looked like fiery tongues moving in all directions, and a tongue came and settled on each person there. This coming Sunday is celebrated as Pentecost Sunday. It is the time when we honor God for the gift of the Holy Spirit - His spirit. I've heard preachers all around my local community and even some televangelists say that we have to tarry for the Holy Spirit now. I beg to differ. I have a problem with that type of theology. The reason being, the disciples tarried and stayed in the upper room for the initial outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Notice I said initial. I'll make it modern. Your friend says her sister is …

Properly diagnosed

I understood that there were changes going on in my body in 2006. Something didn't feel right. I was worried because I could not put my hand on it. What was causing this problem? I went to the general practitioner and he only gave me what he thought it was. It could be this. It could be that. To avoid misdiagnosing me he allowed me to visit a neurologist. He would be able to give me a consise answer. At this point I was hoping someone could give me a solid answer. He could and he did. Are you dealing with something in your spirit? You can't put your finger on it? You have went around to many "spiritual" doctors. You still don't have your answer. In some instances you have been misdiagnosed. Someone may have incorrectly determined the nature of your problem. Before you condemn your spirit by saying, "This is something that will never get right", let me refer you to my spiritual doctor, God. He has a dynamic staff. God - created you. Jesus - died for your a…
